Property Restoration Industry
NuBilt Restoration & Construction is a Colorado owned and operated Restoration and Construction Company dealing primarily in emergency fire & water mitigation of insurance claims for residential, commercial and industrial sites. Position Summary: Performs work related to cleaning, demolition, restoration, construction and mitigation of damaged properties and their contents. Including but not limited to: 24/7 emergency response availability, fire/water/mold/smoke mitigation, water and sewage extraction, property decontamination, dry wall, framing, interior finishing, carpentry and moisture reading/equipment monitoring.
Essential Functions:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Represent a quality company reputation/image through professional appearance, job performance and ethical business behavior.
- Respond immediately to project assignments and/or emergency calls as assigned.
- Availability to work "On Call" 24/7 rotation schedule. This includes evenings and weekends.
- Accurately document project activities (Digital & IR photos, moisture/humidity readings, samples etc.).
- Perform one or more skilled property restoration and/or construction trades as necessary.
- Maintain clean jobsite throughout the project.
- Correctly apply protective coverings (masking tape, tarps, etc.) to protect articles or areas that could be damaged by work processes.
- Contents packing and cleaning.
- Water extraction, demolition, drying, mold mediation, clean smoke damaged structures/contents.
- Apply/ensure all necessary safety requirements are followed at all times on project/jobsite.
- Timely and effective delivery of completed project to all parties.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Four years of general construction knowledge with an emphasis on framing/finish carpentry and/or dry wall hanging and finishing
- Proven customer service/people skills.
- Physical ability to climb on roofs, into confined spaces and carry 50 -75 lbs.
- Professional appearance/demeanor and positive attitude.
- Clean driving record/background check and drug free.
Preferred Educational/Experience/Certification Requirements:
- One year insurance related restoration experience with an emphasis on water
damage restoration
- IICRC certification.
- Use and set up of restoration equipment such as carpet cleaning machines
(portable and truck mounted), extraction tools, moisture and humidity meters,
measuring devices, dehumidifiers, and air movers.
- Ability to document job activities: Temperature and moisture readings, basic
sketching and room dimensioning.
