Crawlspace Sewage & Odor Cleanup
Here we encountered a break in the main waste line running through the house crawlspace. The category three water flooded his crawlspace on top of and under the vapor barrier. We removed the vapor barrier, removed the top layer of affected dirt in the crawl space, added lime for odor control, turned the dirt over, added more lime, set dehumidification equipment for five days and installed a new vapor barrier. The homeowners proclaimed that the odor is gone.

Emergency Water Mitigation to Dry Three Levels
There was a newly installed shower valve on the second level of the dwelling that broke inside the wall. The water affected the second floor, main floor and basement. We performed emergency afterhours mitigation work to dry the structure. Working with the owner during reconstruction, we made upgrades to the finishes he wanted in two of the bathrooms. We installed new tile and did minor remodeling in the second level bathroom. There was wood flooring, tile flooring, drywall and trim work affected. The dwelling has been returned to a better than pre-loss condition.

Broken Water Heater Floods Home
A broken water heater flooded the lower level of this home. NuBilt did after-hours emergency response on this job for mitigation work. At reconstruction, the owners decided to replace the tile flooring that had to be removed with a new pattern and different style of tile. Also, there was drywall, baseboard and new carpet installed (carpet was installed by others). The dwelling was returned to a pre-loss condition.
Vehicle Impact Damages Detached Garage
This was a detached garage that was damaged due to vehicle impact. The structural engineer determined that the garage was a total loss and should be completely demoed. The demolition was done carefully, in order to salvage as much of the existing brick as possible. NuBilt reused the brick (only on the side of the garage that faces the house), so the garage would maintain its historical appearance.

Water Loss Due to Control Valve Leak
“This job was a water loss due to the scalding control valve leaking in the master shower which caused water damage to the master shower walls and subfloor and it leaked into the bathroom below causing additional drywall and shower wall damage. We performed mitigation services including removing shower walls from both bathrooms and the floor tile in the master bathroom. We installed new cement board and tile in both bathrooms, new ceiling drywall in the lower bath and new floor tile in the master bath.” Chris Rains – Project Managers
Emergency Water Loss on Weekend
“Ron had an emergency water loss on a weekend. We responded that afternoon and started the mitigation work. Repairs were started as soon as the mitigation was complete. Drywall/paint repairs and carpet cleaning all looked very good. Ron lives in a mansion so he has high-end finishes throughout the house. The techs were clean and did good work. Job went well and the repairs looked good.” Scott Peck – Project Manager
Breaking and Entering Repairs
“This was a break in. We replaced the front entry door, installed a storm door as a change order, did drywall repairs in the living room and master bedroom where TVs were ripped from the walls, painted the entry wall, the living room walls and the master bedroom walls. We also replaced the laminate flooring in the master bedroom where a TV fell and broke a piece of the flooring.” Chris Rains – Project Manager
Sewer Backup in Finished Basement
“This was a sewage backup that affected a fair size area of the finished basement. We had to remove carpet, make flood cuts, encapsulate the framing and do the reconstruction. New carpet was installed in the lower level living room and hallway after drywall and painting work were completed. The homeowners are very happy with NuBilt and the completed work.” – Chris Rains – Project Manager
