Healthcare Restoration Specialties
Our team brings specialized expertise for healthcare facility restoration.
All NuBilt equipment is decontaminated after each job regardless of type. Equipment is decontaminated prior to leaving containment to prevent cross contamination. Prefilters and secondary filters are removed and double bagged. Equipment is HEPA vacuumed then wiped with a botanical antimicrobial disinfectant to ensure it is performing efficiently and thoroughly cleaned prior to being deployed at your facility.
All barrier assemblies are designed specifically for each project and scope of work. We consider the exact location and proximity of the work as it relates to the critical care areas of the hospital. Whether it is a panel system, polyethylene barrier, or a steel stud and drywall fire-rated assembly, NuBilt has the knowledge and teams to provide these different types of barrier systems to protect your patients and staff.
Your contractor should be an IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certified firm with staff trained and certified to perform work in accordance with all IICRC standards. NuBilt maintains all required certifications and conducts ongoing training to ensure we meet the highest standards for healthcare restoration.
NuBilt is a fully licensed contractor with proper building industry certifications and comprehensive insurance coverage. We carry general liability, professional liability, pollution liability, and workers compensation insurance to provide complete protection for your healthcare facility during restoration work.
Infection control is the prevention of cross-contamination through proper barrier and containment processes. NuBilt conducts routine company trainings covering these processes. All PPE is donned and doffed in the anteroom, trash is double-bagged and goosenecked with tape, and tools and equipment are HEPA vacuumed before leaving containment.
The first step is determining if HVAC supplies can be isolated by closing dampers or mechanical controls. If isolated, they are covered with plastic sheeting along with returns inside the contained area. An air filtration device (AFD) is installed and negative pressure established, measured with a manometer to maintain proper airflow and prevent contaminant spread.
